Why we built Kirje
Bootstrapping an OÜ takes a week. Catching up with the books used to take a day. We built Kirje because no one had closed that second loop yet.

We started building Kirje because we wanted to use it ourselves. Here's how we got here, and what we're shipping first.
The problem
Every Estonian founder we know uses e-Financials. Most also use arvio.ee or Synx. None of them had a way to capture receipts in 30 seconds on the bus, and somehow have those receipts approved, coded, and posted before they got home.
What we built
- • Phone receipt capture that auto-extracts vendor, amount, VAT, line items
- • Bank sync via camt.053 or CSV — SEB, Swedbank, LHV, Luminor, Revolut, Wise, Stripe
- • AI-coded review feed with swipe-to-approve
- • Posting straight into e-Financials via your encrypted API key
